The REST-KY Study

REST-KY is a University of Kentucky research study that aims to better understand connections between sleep, health, and well-being among Kentuckians.

About the Study

Why is it Important?

Kentucky ranks 48th in the U.S. in terms of healthy sleep. Gaining a better understanding of factors that impact Kentuckians' sleep may improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Who Can Participate?

You may be eligible to participate if you are over the age of 18 and you live in one of the following Kentucky Counties: Adair, Bell, Estill, Jackson, Knott, Letcher, Lincoln, Perry, Pike, Rockcastle, Russell, or Whitley 

What Would I Be Asked to Do?

Volunteers will share information about their sleep and several aspects of their health over the course of two years. All participants will receive a Fitbit® activity tracker and may receive up to $685 for their time.
