About the Study
Importance of Sleep
A good night's sleep impacts how we feel during the day. Healthy sleep has many benefits including boosting mood and memory, helping our bodies fight illness, regulating our weight, and preventing heart disease.
Sleep in Kentucky
Kentucky currently ranks 48th in the nation in terms of healthy sleep. Certain Kentucky communities have very high rates of poor sleep. We hope that a better understanding of factors that impact Kentuckians' sleep will improve the health and well-being of our communities.
